The installments of "Random Acts of Mayhem," "The Critical Path," and "Earth Day" are only three of the eventual eight episodes that the series will release before it wraps up on September 22. Promised total transformation, nine very different people arrive at Tranquillum House, a secluded retreat run by the mysterious wellness guru Masha. Hulu bet big on the series, dropping three episodes on the series' launch date, August 18. But even one episode in, it becomes evident that Masha and her staff of dedicated spa workers have plans for these "nine perfect strangers" that are further removed from anything they could imagine.
Of course, we're dealing with some pretty broken people at the start of the series, so it's not difficult to imagine that they would leave happier. The series takes place in a tropical, if not eerie spa where a retreat leader by the name of Masha promises that people will leave the resort happier than when they came to it. That's not the only big name attached to the Hulu series though-the cast is round out with the likes of Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Bobby Cannavale, and Regina Hall.
And as the best summer miniseries do, it stars Nicole Kidman. The resort's director is a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. Nine stressed city dwellers visit a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation. With Nicole Kidman, Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans. As the guests learn more about Tranquillum's unique protocols, everyone must decide if they will continue under Masha's care. The creator behind Big Little Lies has returned to television with a haunting new miniseries called Nine Perfect Strangers, based off the novel of the same name. Blossom Films executive-producing season one of HBO’s Big Little Lies, which garnered eight Emmy nominations and five wins, including Best Actress for Kidman and Best Miniseries or Television Film. The series is the latest project from Blossom Films, Made Up Stories, and Endeavor Content. Executive producers also include Papandrea, Steve Hutensky, and Casey Haver for Made Up Stories, Kidman and Per Saari for Blossom Films, Moriarty, Kelley, and Butterworth. Nine Perfect Strangers is expected to debut on Hulu in 2021. This means that depending on where people live, the latest episode of Nine Perfect Strangers could be ready to watch as early as Tuesday night. Hulu releases the new episodes at 12:01 am EST/9:01 pm PST. According to Deadline, Ready or Not actress Samara Weaving has signed on for one of the nine leading roles in Hulu‘s forthcoming limited series adaptation of Nine Perfect Strangers which will be led by fellow Australian actress Nicole Kidman.
